What Excites You Most About The Upcoming FB Season?

I think our ends are top notch, but I guess I don't see them dominating like everyone else seems to be talking about. I think the loss of two stellar DT's will let o-linemen focus more on stopping our ends. I hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a slight drop-off from last year.

Easy Tiger. Regardless of what you say, Michigan has a pretty strong team returning this season. Henne is a good QB.... The guy who irks me the most from Michigan is Hart. He pisses me off.............

Gholston has me excited on D. I can't wait to see Small and Wells turn it up on Offense. And I always like to see if guys with "the talent" make the field like Thad Gibson, Mark Johnson and Eugene Clifford.

IMO, today is the start of the hype for football season.

If you are in town, check out Picnic with the Pops at the Chemical Abstracts lawn.(tonight at sundown) Every year for their last show they bring the OSU band.

As many of you know this is still last years band so they will still be in prime form. (New band starts with Autumn quarter)

Sure I can listen to any of the band bits I have on my iPod anytime I want, but this is the band, it is live and there is nothing like hearing the Buckeye Battle Cry live to get the blood pumping for the season.

I just like the fact that all the pressure is going to be on Michigan and Llllloyd and to a lesser degree Wisconsin.

Also, although Seattle is a tough place to play, our marquee opponent is kind of down at the moment.

I just think that it's a great set up for the new starters to ease into their roles and JT to have the team humming by the time B10 season rolls around.

Just wanted to mention as the Buckeyes report for camp today. From the "debacle in the desert" to today, there has been not one (not one mind you!!) altercation of any kind that drew the attention of either law enforcement authorities or the media. Nor have their been any academic casualties. Considering we're talking about 105 rambunctious college age young men, that's pretty impressive.

I am already proud as hell of this team. Can't wait to see them take the field.

People here might think I'm crazy, but I'm more exited this season than I was at this time last year. Last year we all expected big things from the Buckeyes, but so did the rest of the nation. Last year was definitely very very exciting: amazing offense coming back, rematch with Texas, scUM at home, etc. After the great win over ND, the whole country knew alot about the Buckeyes, hence the preseason #1. THIS season, however, it's like we (those of us who spend alot of time thinking about Buckeye football) know a big secret that no one else knows. It's like when you've gotten a gift for your parents at Christmas time when you're a little kid. Starting in 20 or so days, the rest of the country gets to start opening their Christmas gift. This year's team is hungry and EXTREMELY talented, but no one knows just how talented yet.

I really can't wait to see the Bucks get out there and really show the nation how they reload every year, even after losing the Heisman Trophy winner, a pro RB and three pro WRs. This defense is going to be absolutely scary. This offense has so many truly talented skill players just dying to get on the field. Our HUGE line is coming back, and our special teams are intact. And Beanie.

It's not quite Christmas Eve, but I'm already getting the happy holday jitters. Go Bucks!
