WR James Louis (transfer to FIU)

These situations never turn out well. I've always felt he could be this year's Justin Green. And I hope the staff anticipated the possibility as well.

I think they did and that's why we have Corey Brown. And us looking at Dominique Brown is another factor in that as well. I'd love to get James, but those two aren't too shabby.

If there's one thing the staff does very well, it's preparing for kids who aren't completely committed. It's not a coincidence that they have a great hit rate on 'plan b' guys around this time of year. Overall though, their soft sell approach drastically reduces the amount of these situations, which is remarkable given how prevalent decommitments are in today's recruiting world.

He has also said the only way he doesn't sign with OSU is if Tressel and Hazzell leave. I think we're safe there...

As do I, but if Dunk goes to Bama, and UF offers......I wouldn't feel so confident.

With that said though, UF would rather have Kadron Boone so it would have to take an "if and if, then" situation which seems highly unlikely. Our odds are good.

Delray Beach Atlantic's James Louis talking about feeling good about his decision to shy away from UF and commit to Ohio State in lieu of what's going on in Gainesville with Urban Meyer. "Right now it's feeling like I made the best decision for myself. I'm happy with my coaching staff [at Ohio State], that they're going to be there for the next four years. Right now Florida's having some problems with their coaching staff and I didn't want to get involved in all that." Louis said he is enrolling at Ohio State on June 16.
