WR Roy Hall (Official Thread)

I realize that this has been speculation forever, but I have actually heard that the move has been made. Apparently Devon Lyons' uncle was posting on BSB stating that Hall had moved. I am not saying that it has happened, I am just trying to sniff out some truth.

Easy styxbuck...

stxbuck, there's a difference between a newbie who comes over here posting about topics that are easy to find... like Zwick v. Smith or Ginn at corner, etc...

and something like this which I can't remember us having a thread on in the last week.

From what I've read on this board nobody knows anything about Hall moving to TE. There may be truth to this but none of us know about it...

The difference between Bucknuts and here is that newbies come over here, are reprimanded, and then once they change they are accepted. There's a learning curve for posters on this board, and we realize that. Heck, I started topics that I would never start now that I've become more of a seasoned poster.

Plus this is the off-season, and there is a lot less to talk about. If this were during the season we would be more upset about this threads existence.

I would assume that we would all be speculating unless someone here has inside info. From a logical standpoint, he may want to move down there and be a Daniel Graham, in-space type TE...I wonder if he can block well enough at the point of attack, like turning a DE inside on a sweep? It may be the best move unless he comes out of no where and surplants 4-5 people in his way.

I heard Dustin Fox was gonna play safety and Mike D'Andrea is gonna play DE opposite Kudla.
You heard Dustin Fox was gonna play safety, did you. Tell your 'source' that Dustin Fox is busy trying to impress NFL scouts now that he's used up all his college eligibility. Oh, and then tell your source to quit fucking with you and punch him in the nuts.

BKB he was being sarcastic. Why would his source be talking about Fox playing safety... and why would he post that in this thread, except to make fun of the rumor of Hall to TE?

This move wouldn't suprise me a bit. With the bumper crop group of WR's already at OSU, Hall may be best served at TE. He has the size, and as long as he can block he could be in the mold of a Tony Gonzalez. He actually may have a better shot at the NFL at TE.

Whoops... my bad.... I should have known, sorry BN11.

remember, for idiots like me, {sarcasm} sarcasm on {/sarcasm} sarcasm off.

I could see that happening. With holmes ,gonzo and ginn being the main targets that would be scary having him at te with his speed. He could probably run backwards and still be faster with the TE'S they have now.

SPEED MAKES WINNERS TODAY

WRS HOLMES GINN GONZO JORDAN
TES HAMBY NICOLES HALLS
RB PITTMAN HAW WELLS
FB JOHNSON
QB SMITH

THAT REMINDS BE OF THOSE EARLY 90'S MIAMI AND FSU TEAMS

TRESSEL FOR PRESIDENT

If Hall can develop into a good run blocker by August, he'd be an incredible TE. However, he has stated before that he refuses to move to TE. Surely its part of the reason he isn't getting PT at WR. With two years left of eligibility, it would behoove him to embrace the change and excel at that position. Like daddyphatsacs said, it will likely be his chance in the NFL.

the manner in which hall was used later in the season ws that of a pro style te, even though he got split out wide (a common occurence in teh nfl) he ran little drags and pops. i thought it was good becuase he could manhandle dbs and outrun lbs. we will see....like many things this fall.

granted rory played real well before he seperated his shoulder.

crazy- thxs wow. I really like halls size as a wr but, he won't play that much as a wr with all those speedsters

I really think he would be a scary te down the field with his speed and he has good size already

this could be when miami had kosar and testaverde looked like pro qb's in college games.

if clarett and izzy were not like the rejects they are , could you imagine how the bucks would have been like this year or this past season

that just makes me :( all the time thinking about that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the whats,,,,,,,,,
