WR T.Y. (Tyrone) Williams (official thread)

Yes! Great get and Williams' upside is simply through the roof. What amazes me more than the fact that he is still growing, is how fluid of an athlete he is. Sometimes you see some awkwardness or clumsiness with big guys who are still growing, but Williams moves smoothly and has great body control. Hopefully he takes care of business in the classroom because he can be a special player here. While Tyrone may not want to play TE now, if Stoney can impress in the Flex-TE role with some balls thrown his way, perhaps that is a possibility. Welcome aboard Tyrone! :osu:

This is a BIG get. Congrats Tyrone welcome to the family.

literally a HUGE get...

I'm thinking that the staff isn't recruiting TE's because so many of our guys have great versatility. Stoneburner, Fragel, and now Williams...

We lost a Buckeye yesterday (Mobley), but gained a new one today (Williams). Thus the circle of life.

Great pickup by the staff, as noted already we haven't had this kind of size in our receiving crops for quite some time.

Awesome pickup by the Bucks. I believe Tyrone will help us greatly in the redzone. The safety has to think twice about coming up for run support and leaving a 6-7 guy one on one with the corner. Just for reference, Josh Chichester had a pretty good rFR season for Louisville, where he caught 30 passes for 340 yards. And I've always said this, Tyrone has excellent speed. He might not quite have the agility and the athleticism of a Marlon Brown, but he has the size and straight line speed to get a lot of YAC. Excellent pickup.
