Your "Fast and Furious" Ride?

I drove a Ford Ranger and then a Mercury Tracer through undergrad. In grad school I had a Jeep Wrangler. None of those were exactly fast and furious.

My father had a BMW 3 series that was really fun to drive, though. Unfortunately my mother sold it after he passed away. :(

The proper name of the Mercury is the T Racer! At least that is what I called my old one. :wink2:

Saw some nice cars at the car show today. My oldest enjoyed sitting in every car he could get in. It was funny that he could sit in a $100,000 Porsche and not a $50,000 BMW. They both were from the same dealership so I don't know what the deal was.

I had a 91 Cavalier in high school. It was a total babe magnet.

I know whatcha mean, I had an '86 Ford Tempo. 2 tone paint, white body, yellow(ish) hood. Had to stop on my way home one night, hop out, and run back about ten feet, pick up the muffler and toss it in the trunk. The whole car shook violently if I took it over 70mph. In a different way than most on this thread, I too, am lucky to be alive. [smiley]

Right after college, I had a Mercury Cougar XR7. It had a 6-cylinder, 5-speed, supercharged engine. That was one fast car. I had to sell it when it started to get old and became too expensive to maintain.

I have to live through my buddy since I don't really care about my car as long as it gets me where I want to go and has decent pickup. I drive a Galant. My buddy has a 2001 Audi S4 with twin turbos and a bunch of engine modifications that make it fly. I haven't ridden with him since he got a new ECU chip, but he says it's a whole new car. It already hurts my back when he really gunned the engine. That is by far the fastest car I've ever ridden in.

This is similar to his car except it's dark blue and has a spoiler that isn't gay. I had to get the Audi when I was playing my brothers copy of Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

I had a red one of these...T-Bird Super Coupe...supercharged V-6. Very fast. Basically the same thing as the Cougar.

I now have one of these...Someday it will be supercharged or turboed with full suspension and whatever else I can bolt on to the thing...My goal is 400 hp, that way I can make sure I die instantly instead of lingering on life support...

is it an LT1 or an LS1? if it's an LS1, just throw a 100 shot of Nitrous in it, and be done. you'll be sitting on 430 whp, and nearly 500 lb-ft of torque... you can do it through Nitrous Express for under a grand...

Tibor, is your WRX an STi? you need a turbo timer, boost controller, and bigger pipes...

anyway, i have a 1990 Honda CRX with a JDM B16a. it's the same 1.6 liter twin cam engine from the '99-01 Civic Si's. i have a BUNCH of shit done to it. it's not 'really' fast, but it's a pretty fun little car... handles like a go kart...
