Your thoughts about your favorite TV shows' finale?

Thursday night is the best night of TV (for now)

Earl
The Office
Scrubs

all in a row.

Definitely the best night of comedy right now.

My can't-miss hour-longs are "House", "Prison Break" and "Heroes", and I'll catch CSI and "Friday Night Lights" if I'm around.

January should be great, with the return of not only 24 but also "Monk" and "Psych"--and "The Shield"!

If this thread is still about tv shows rather than crappy (yet hot) country singers. I got hooked on Battlestar Galactica this summer. It is by far the best Sci Fi since TNG. If there are any other Trekies out there that aren't watching this show catch up on the first 2 seasons and give it a go.

Other shows I'm watching now.
Family Guy
How I met your mother
Heroes
Studio 60
Friday Night Lights
The Unit
Nip/Tuck
Lost
The Nine
Earl
Robot Chicken

Battlestar Galactica may be one of the best dramas on TV. I consider it more of a drama than a Sci-Fi show, but that is just me. Plus, they have some damn hot toasters:wink2:

The contrast between this version of Battlestar Galactica and the past is like night and day.

Old: Cheesy, excrutiating special effects, lame dialog, targeted to sub-14 year old audiences. Ultimately an underachieving project, curtailed for its own good and the mental health of the actual audience that had an interest in the drek that was served up.
Current version: Edgy, atmospheric, realistic, at times gruesome, at others very beautiful to watch. Great group of actors, good dialog, dynamic tension evident in every episode. Plot lines followed with sincerity, honoring the original intent of the storyline.
It is so close to what a Sci-Fi maven like Straczynski might have fashioned for Battlestar Galactica had he be given the go-ahead - and that is high praise.

Jericho has taken a turn for the worse since its first three episodes. I hope it gets better soon. Won't air again til February

The endings of the last two episodes of Season 1 were fantastic.

One of the most powerful moments I've ever seen on TV....followed by Stanley cammied up, snooping & pooping? Fuck ya.

It's a real shame the show got jerked around as much as it did & the second season was such a let down.

Speaking of season finales, Six Feet Under's very last show was the best I've ever seen. The last scene is on YouTube, and I've watched it tons of times.

Those last six minutes are the only time I've teared up during a show's finale.

The only show whose finale topped it was Life on Mars (the original BBC version).
