Your thoughts about your favorite TV shows' finale?

The "Smallville" season finale ended in classic cliffhanger fashion. A meteor shower just hit Smallville. Lana was in a helicopter crash and is really messed up. As she crawls away, she notices that an object that fell from the sky next to her isn't a meteor. Clark has just reunited three stones (elements) in the ancient cave and has been transported to what appears to be Antartica (Fortress of Solitude?). Johnathan and Martha Kent are being held at gunpoint by Lana's old boyfriend and are fighting for their lives when a meteor hits the house. Chloe is left with an angry Lex, alone in the caves and Lionel just died.

It wore me out.

I'm also on the House bandwagon. That has turned out to be one great show. Great mix of characters and interesting storylines.
House really only left two cliffhangers for next season:

1. House's ex being on the show next year

2. Whether House and the girl doc will ever do anything

And an impending amphetimine habit.

The best part about that show is how House treats everyone. If they're dumb, he lets them know. If they're smart, he makes them feel dumb. And the rant he laid on the young doctor that's infatuated with him was classic.

I'm planning on not watching ER or 24 any more. I hate all reality TV except for The Amazing Race, which I like because of my love for travel.

I will continue to watch Lost because of the weird stuff going on, but it moves too slow. And last night, how stupid was it to fire your only flare 15 miles away from the island?

It would take a lot of cash to make me watch either American Idol or Desperate Housewives.

I've watched more regular TV the last month than usual for May since the Stanley Cup playoffs got wiped out. Regular season hockey is bad TV, but playoff hockey rocks.

The only reality show I can handle is Survivor. Along with Real World, Survivor is still the best. I still laugh everytime someone thinks a friendship made over 35 days is more important than $1 million dollars.

I am also on the House bandwagon. He is such a refreshing character and actually I get some good laughs at what he does. In addition the previous episode of him teaching the class was classic.

I also loved the Smallville ending. My fascination with Superman makes this must see TV. I also see Clark being in Antartica to create his fortress of solitude and everything going bang in Smallville was classic cliffhanger. Does Clark's parents survive? Who/What is in that starship? What all happens in the caves... classic.

You could be right, given that she's got the frame to become a very big girl...
tell that to Trisha Yearwood

Carrie will be a huge star and so will Bo Bice. I have read this thread and I seen some ER fans, I also am a Huge fan, but when Dr. Green left the show it lost alittle something.

LOST is the only show on television I watch that had a normal season finale (the only other shows I watch besides the news and sports are Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad).

Unfortunately, the LOST finale was a big disappointment. That show has such great potential, but the writing is seriously bringing it down. The story is good enough that I will give it another season, but if it progresses as slow next year as it did this year, I'm done with it. The writers need to decide if they are creating a soap-opera or an action/adventure thriller; otherwise, LOST is going to be lost on my television set.

Sorry, but I had to bring this one back, with the "hottness" of Carrie Underwood going on. Amazing what knocking about 15 pounds off of an already beautiful girl will do to her "popularity." I must admit that I was wrong in one way about Carrie, by comparing her to Trisha. That wasn't fair to Carrie. Peace.

If this thread is still about tv shows rather than crappy (yet hot) country singers. I got hooked on Battlestar Galactica this summer. It is by far the best Sci Fi since TNG. If there are any other Trekies out there that aren't watching this show catch up on the first 2 seasons and give it a go.

Other shows I'm watching now.
Family Guy
How I met your mother
Heroes
Studio 60
Friday Night Lights
The Unit
Nip/Tuck
Lost
The Nine
Earl
Robot Chicken

Been watching Heroes, Jericho, House, Ghost Whisperer, NCIS and Survivor.

Jericho has taken a turn for the worse since its first three episodes. I hope it gets better soon. Won't air again til February

Heroes is still great. A lot of info gets packed into these shows.

House will eventually have to save the dick head cop. Count on it.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's rack is still fun to watch on Friday nights.

NCIS may be my favortie show on tv right now. I like the CSI meets Military Channel theme.

Survivor has one true hottie left in Parvati. I think Yul or Ozzy will win it. Adam is a chump.

Medium is back on and I dig that show too.

Thursday night is the best night of TV (for now)

Earl
The Office
Scrubs

all in a row

But I also like that new show "Day Break" on ABC (in place of Lost).

I can't wait till Lost comes back. Other shows I watch weekly are: Heroes, House, and Studio 60.
