RB Jordan Hall (Official Thread)

Definitely a strong candidate. I'd like to see it in a gif.

Was really surprised to see Hall was essentially non-existent last night. Was this a scheme specific thing for Wisconsin or are we only going to see him during mop-up and relief from here out? It's a good problem to have, but it sucks seeing talent sit on the sidelines, especially since Jordan has been so effective up to now.

I think we'll see more of Hall in other games, but against Wisky they really wanted to dumb down the offense, for which Hyde fits the role. This will likely be the lowest scoring game for us this year. Almost always is, they are good at forcing a team to play their style. I expected Wisky to be the tightest game we play. Northwestern will potentially score more than Wisky, but we should be able to put up more than 31 against everyone else this year. A lot more games in the 45+ range. Should we get to the Rose bowl against Stanford, expect a similar game.

I'm hoping that Hall is one of our 'surprises' for Northwestern this weekend. Miller, Hyde, and Hall together --- what a package. Would also love to see Guiton, Hall, Elliott (or Smith or Dunn) come in as a unit late in the second quarter and spell Miller, Hyde and Wilson. Just rotate them in and give the first unit a breather.
Crazy? I'll admit, it is. But it could happen.
Behind winning out right through the NC game, my other big wish is to see Hall throw a touchdown pass this year. I just can't believe that NW is preparing for that.

Whatever happens, I gotta believe that Hall is going to get his reps this year one way or another.

He's come a long way from Jeannette.

OSU 45, NW 13.

Sounds like it was a major oversight by the staff to not get him more reps during the Wisconsin game, and that he'll be more involved the rest of the season.
Jordan Hall was a forgotten man against Wisconsin, but Ohio State coaches take blame, vow to get him back in the gameplan.

EZE seems like the kind of guy that would just go off against Northwestern IMO. For those that want more Hyde, Hall, or even Rod Smith seeing Elliot get carries might be the last thing you want to see. Of course all of us being Buckeyes fans I'm sure we could live with it.

Here's my weekly (almost) post, hoping that Jordan Hall takes a pitch to the right and stops and throws a TD to a wide open Chris Fields (or Braxton Miller, take your pick). If Iowa is amped up and pursuing the ball, it's a good possibility. Do it, Jordan!

I hope Hall has a good game this week, coming back from his knee.
