It does not say we are no longer recruiting him. Just that we won'r bring him in for an OV. What happens if the charges are dropped or are reduced to a misdemeanor? It does not say what we will do then. I think we are staying in touch just in case.
If this kid is in the '08 class he does not have an offer as yet. Written offers supposedly go out Sept 1 to the class of '08 and you can bet there will not be that many for OSU.
If a kid can transfer from one school to another for better academics then there is no reason to deny a transfer for better athletics as long as the other criteria have been met.
Before anyone pops the cork on that bottle of champaigne I think we should let this one play out tomorrow. BK may not always be right but he still has ways to find out what's going on inside the staff.
I love all the internet experts, who, after looking at 30 seconds of highlights or evaluating some measurables, become bigger recruiting gurus than the OSU football staff who have over 200 years of evaluating experience. I wish the second guessing recruiting posts on the internet would dry up...
