'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

Btw, the Brown's are crazy if they really believe Aaron will walk in and be a 3 years and done player at any of his top choices. I've seen him play, and he is not even CLOSE to being college-ready right now; he's a great athlete with a lot of potential, and I hope he chooses OSU, but this is NOT Orlando Pace.

...

Having seen him play 5 times between this year and last year, I agree 100% with your assesment.

Copied from the rivals thread
Rivals

Chris Wells checks in at #8, one spot behind LeSean McCoy for top RB. Connor Smith has jumped over Justin Boren and all the way up the charts to #48. Aaron Brown has dropped out. Ray Small is in at #91. AJ Wallace lands at #58. JB Walton checks in at #36. David Ausberry holds onto his 5* rating and is at #26. those are the recruits of note for tOSU.

It been said over and over again that Aaron is going to pick the situation that he believes is best for him. Playing time is important, but there are many other considerations, many of them personal, that factored into his decision.

I have no problem with any recruit's decision as long as he is ultimately making a fully-informed decision for himself. It sounds like he is considering more than just the depth chart and that shows a maturity not all recruits have. I wish Aaron the best no matter where he ends up.

This thread has been split.

Let's stick to the recruiting forum rules and keep this topic on Aaorn Brown only.

Regardless of his choice, we must still follow rules in regards to staying on topic and showing proper respect to any recruit.

Thanks for understanding.

Now, back to AB.

It is getting there. A few too bad two of the three best O Lineman leave Ohio. It is only a matter of time.

I must agree - I thought it was terrible that Orlando Pace didn't get to play his entire career for the Browns or the Bengals, and Jim Lachey ended up with those Redskins.
Though quite what Tressel could have done to stop either twist of fate is quite beyond me.
