Dawaan needs to pass psych 100 with a c or better this quarter to be able to transfer in March. He is taking psych 100 at OSU-Newark.

Indeed. I've taken that exact class in Newark. I'd say a C is more than attainable with a chance to play for the Buckeyes on the line. :)

  6. "Miscommunication" could simply be a nice way of saying he didn't make the grade.

I had several "miscommunications" with my academic advisers over my 4 years at OSU in the engineering college. One of these resulted in my having to take an extra Chemistry class. I had friends who constantly were told one thing by an adviser, and then it turned out that they had to take more classes. Throw in that this is an adviser from a satellite campus, and it really doesn't surprise me.

I should've advised myself at the Newark campus. It was bad. I believe miscommunication when I read it. I'm still paying for their mistakes two years down the road.

Hope Dawawn still ends up a Buckeye.

You didn't have the Ohio State Athletic Department lending a helping hand though . . . .

If Dawawn plays football this year at Erie, then transfers to Ohio State, how many years of eligibility would he have left at OSU?

On the flip-side, that could actually be part of the communication problem.

Athletic Department expected one thing, school decides they need another thing. I don't know, just throwing it out there.

Typically you see JC guys with 2 years eligibility left.

I don't think incompetence shows favorites.

If he plays one year, then he should have 4 years to be on the team with three year eligible to play. Two years is the norm and those guys usually get three years to play two. The extra year is for redshirting.

Hopefully Grad or Wade can verify.
