Not to get off topic, but why don't you think his response was just an honest and straightforward answer to the question?

I dont think we can just assume every kid is playing mind games because for every Fred Davis there is a Ted Ginn Jr.
consider who said it

One thing he is not "playing" about is that he has pushed the decision back a few days. If he was sure about where he was going he would want the announcement to be on National TV.
Appears like it is not a done deal yet to me.

Why would he lie about wanting playing time early? Distance and playing time could be the factors in tOSU favor. Why travel a few thousand miles to compete for a championship when you can have one 500 miles from home? He could have his coming out party on National TV (ESPN Gameday in attendance) against Texas. Hope is still plenty alive with tOSU pulling in JG.

I made a comment on the Gwaltney thread about the Dispatch's article. I hope what he said is true, but I too say consider the source. There is a little bit of bias. Come on JG be a Buckeye, you won't regret it.

It sounds to me like JG is waiting until all commits are made so he can analyze where the power has landed, then make his commitment based upon that. A smart move for a quality runner who wants to be the #1 back in a top program.

Getting either Maurice or Jason would make Saturday a very special day. Each kid seems to have the confidence and demeanor necessary to step into the Shoe and make an immediate impact. I swore this year I was not going to get wrapped up in recruiting but Saturday seems like Christmas and we start opening presents around noon. Hopefully there will be a couple tagged - To The Buckeye Nation from Rico and Maurice.

Well once he sees the benefit of playing behind Boone and as the complement to Wells, as well as playing opposite the best LB in the nation in Rico and this year's version of Teddy.

Also realize that Matt Leinart's return makes a big difference on whether or not they are a lock for the title game. Without leinart they should still make it there, but are less of a blind favorite in my book. He may have less than 24 hours from hearing Matt's decision to choose USC as his school. That makes sense as a reason to wait.
