I don't believe that Miami was in the NIT that year. We did, however, play a team called Miami of Ohio that year.

Even Fredo occasionally got to do waitresses two at a time. One transitory night of glory didn't fundamentally change his position in life or alter his ultimate fate.

We got a #1 seed in the NIT.

I think someone at ESPN needs a refresher on conference affiliations.
