2017-2018 B1G Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

That game shows what a joke Northwestern is. No freaking way you should blow a 27 point lead. Collins needs to try finding some decent bench players so his team doesn't fall apart completely when a couple starters are in foul trouble.

They were missing a starter today (McIntosh) who is their second leading scorer and leading assist man. It definitely caught up with them in the second half, but man, you gotta find a way to make 43-16 stand up.

Yeah, forgot about McIntosh but like you said they were up 27 without him. NW was terrible with some of their bench guys having to play. Literally the entire team combined for 3 made FGs in the whole 2H - that is bad coaching and bad execution.

Nebraska is going to be a really interesting case this year, especially if they flame out in the B1G quarters. I can see the mediots pushing the 10th team in the ACC or Overrated XII hard

Might have been an interesting case had they won out but losing to Illinois all but kills their chances unless they make the Big Ten Finals.

They are 1-6 vs quad 1 with their lone win a home win over Michigan who is barely quad 1 win (RPI 28 thanks to us today)

They are just 3-2 vs quad 2 (home win vs Maryland, win at Northwestern, win at Wisconsin who is barely quad 2 win RPI 134) Good chance they lose that quad 2 win when Wisky loses their next game.

So I don't see Nebraska having much of a chance unless it makes the Big Ten Finals as that would include a win over either likely MSU or Purdue/Ohio State.

Even then still dicey.
