2017-2018 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

Great great game. X up big early. Dawgs found their energy and shot-making. Kelan Martin and Trevon Bluiett going at it in Hinkle Fieldhouse. Awesome.

Meanwhile, Rick Barnes and the Vols go into Lexington and get the W.
The one 3 by McDermott near the end of the 2H was insane - literally drifting sideways in the air and nailed it anyway. But X made a huge mistake coming off Baldwin to dig down up 3 with the game clock running really low. Never should have gone to OT, but credit to Butler for another miracle comeback even tho they lost ultimately.

Just happened again in the Rhode Island game. Guy just bodybagged someone in the post + the foul. Screams and gets a T.

I'm serious when I say they should stop the game, roll out a tombstone of the deceased player, hold a funeral and in lieu of a eulogy the posterizer is allowed to perform a dance move of their choice over the grave.

Soft.

First time seeing them this year, I was impressed with Rhode Island. They have an extremely quick team, great guard depth, lots of good shooters, a very agile big who can block shots, and a little guy named Fats.
Watched (aka put action on) them a couple times this year. Like that team too for what they are- undersized. Great energy guards that can create looks inside and out.
