Commentator said it all: Fans don't tune in to watch refs call silly fouls and eject players from the game.

The best officials are the ones you barely notice. Somewhere along the way, maybe because so many games are on TV now, that got lost. Now these old fools think they're part of the show, and not just in basketball.

Good day for Ohio State so far in a chance to move up the S-Curve seeding tomorrow.

Both West Virginia and Oklahoma lost 2 teams that Ohio State is near in the seeding curve.

Could move Ohio State up to the 13/14 spot range on the higher side of the 4 seed with a win today vs Iowa.

Would been nice if North Carolina had lost but that didn't happen.

Gotta find a clip of it later. Xavier just got a gift with 0.3 second left on the clock, a weak block call made by an official in a bad position - but he didn't let it stop him from making the emphatic "look at me" body movements while making the call.

Horrible call that turned a 71-70 Creighton win into a 72-71 loss.

Agreed! Was watching and said out loud "they called THAT???" McDermott had every right to bitch at the refs

Damn UVA in big trouble here. If they lose who is number 1? MSU?

If OSU wins the Big Ten title outright they should be a 1 seed with a reasonable Big Ten tournament showing. Not saying it will happen but it's my opinion. I don't feel MSU or Purdue should get seeded over a team who beat them and beat them for a Big Ten Title

UVa-Va Tech going to OT tied at 49.

The Cavaliers win a lot of games, and may well win again tonight, but their style of play always hits a wall in the tourney sooner or later. As the level of competition increases in a one and done event, you can't rely on holding opponents to 50 points to win. At some point, you need to be able to score.
