major loss. i had iowa in my 2nd/3rd tier of conference teams. losing 4 of their top 6 scorers (cook, bohannon, moss, and baer) looks to kill their chances, though. that's a ton of lost offense from a team that couldn't defend.

between iowa and ttun's shakeups and losses, the conference appears to be furthering distinguishing the top 3 from the rest. msu is obviously at the top. i'd put maryland next and osu third. some combination of purdue, ttun, wisconsin, illinois, and minnesota would fall behind. forced to choose the top team among those five, i'd probably go with illinois.

really odd transfer announcement from rutger's omoruyi. odd because the announcement has shocked everyone, was posted after midnight, and because he butchered the coach's name ("pikeil" instead of pikiell). some are thinking this might have been a hack because of all the oddities.

would be a shame, really, since rutgers was looking rather promising. relatively speaking, that is. i mean, it's still rutgers.

This is strange to say the least. Team captain and Rutgers scheduled a game in Canada just for him. Also will have to sit out a year unless he can get a transfer waiver of some sort. This really puts a hurt on the Rutgers basketball program and especially their coach.

minny's coffey and psu's stevens have just over 5 hours until the deadline to withdraw from the draft. gopher fans with some tight sphincters right now. might be the difference between top 25ish and the nit.
