Putting my CEH and CHFI certs to good use here...(BTW CHFI sucks and I'll never take it again willingly  )

There are many commercially and not commercially available hacking programs you could put on your phone to do this stuff. Its not hard. And being a veteran, I've done a lot of the same trainings this Marine has done (although I'd be interested in knowing what his speciality was, be it Intel or IT) and these things become known if you're in the right circles and take the trainings they offer.

Like I said, it's not all that hard. Even WPA2 isn't secure enough for me anymore - everything on my wifi network at home is either hardwired or WPA3.
Eh, if it touches the internet or someone can somehow access it.... it's not safe.... nothing is safe, it will be 'hacked'...

It'll be interesting how well they play against Sparty this week and going forward. If there's a sharp decline in level of play.....

Sparty and Purdue are bad enough that it won't really matter probably.

The real test of all this comes when they play @ Ped State on November 11th. Remember last year Michigan had their typical slow sputtering start to a 2 point halftime lead, before looking all world in the 2nd half against the Peds. Let's see how it goes this year.

AS OSU fans, let's not act like OSU was beating scUM the last 2 yrs.
the scores were 13-14 and 20-17 at halftime, it’s funny how individual matchups get more lopsided when the plays are being tipped

It’s also a lot easier to call and execute a play action bomb downfield where the db is put in a tough spot and slips when you know it’s cover zero with no over the top safety help

Speculation, but part of what makes the conduct alleged improper is that electronic equipment is used, and the many by which it is used. I think it's gotta be more than recording signals on a cell phone camera. You've got to process a lot of information. You have to do it fairly quickly... I wonder if this guy had earbuds in and spotters communicating who was hot as far as signal calling.
The bottom line is OSU has a ton of money that they are willing to part ways with to win games that is legally allowable. If OSU could do what Scum is doing legally they would without doubt.

Here is what I think is happening. Scum sends people to both record and analyze teams signal callers in person. They collect the data which gives a base set of signals. Once the actual game is in progress, they collect data and at half time with the help of software sync up what happened in the first half to what they got from the signal base. That is why scums second half play is astronomically better.

So, even if a team switches up their signals, Scum has figured out a way to use data learned from being at oppositions prior games, and sync it up.

If the NCAA allows Scum to go forward doing that, I expect OSU to start doing it to, therefore rendering the practice futile.

What the NCAA does is a litmus test in my opinion.

Yep. I won't claim we woulda won for sure. But if its true they were illegally obtaining other teams plays and did in fact know exactly what was coming in the 2nd half. The final outcome sure as heck coulda been different, for sure a lot closer.

Yep. two years in a row, it was pretty straight up for a half, then they just seem to figure everything out at halftime. After years of getting their shit pushed in by tOSU. It'd be easier to write off if this wasn't a common theme in MANY of their games from 2021 to present. Dirty, rotten cheaters. Nah, nah, boo, boo.
