Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

There is still a long way to got. I was wrong about LSU. They were weak in the trenches.

UGA and Clemson would be big tests for Bama. But Bama would still probably be favored by 10-13 pts.
the human brain is a funny thing. apparently just being better than everybody isn't enough for Bama fan anymore. now we have to pretend like it's not a forgone conclusion for the umpteenth time in a row.

Historically, the monstrous teams that everyone was certain could not be beaten have fallen. I think cash has every right to be concerned. It’s not uncommon for the college football world to be shocked when a giant comes crashing to the floor at the end of the season.

I’d say he has plenty of reason to be optimistic and confident. National Championship certainty? Eh, 2007 and 2003 have taught me better than that.

that was out two title years.
‘03 i’ll give you because people were talking about OU in those tones during latter point of the season.

but ‘07? nobody wanted to rise up that year.
seemingly everyone that ever entered the top 3 lost shortly afterward.
that’s how we got in with 2 losses, because EVERYBODY was losing.
