ALCS 7 games: Red Sox or Rays?

Awfully reminiscent of the Sox-Tribe series last year. :(

I wouldn't say that your Tribe choked it away last year though, Beckett pitched a gem in game 5 in Cleveland last year. I felt the Indians played well that entire series, but if this one goes to the Sox after the Rays were 7 outs away and up by 7 runs and then they lose the last 2 at home, it would be hard to call this anything but a choke job.

Eh, when you have a team on the ropes 3-1, I have a hard time not calling it a choke job. Though I still, to this day, feel that the day off between games 4 and 5 is what did the Tribe in. They had the momentum and their ace due on the mound, but that day off neutralized that.

Have to agree, that day off I think helped the Sox regroup and gave the Indians too much time to think about what they were on the verge of accomplishing. To this day I don't understand that day off, i'm glad it was there, but I don't understand it.

It's 1:47 AM and scUM and the Yankess still both fucking suck.

I'll be surprised if Tampa even scores tonight. They're so tight now, and Boston has been here before. The Rays had 'em, and let 'em off the hook.

Well, they scored...and I'm glad they proved me wrong.

Now win the damn game!

4 pitchers in the 8th inning?

Maddon is micromanaging the hell out of his team.

Wheeler's numbers on the year:

ERA 3.12

WHIP 0.99

OBA .183

To have him face one batter in the 8th then yank him is ridiculous. Fucking Garza pitched 7 innings, then all of a sudden it is time to change pitchers for every batter.

STUPID

David Price is a stud (remember that fantasy players) and he just saved Maddon from himself. We'll see if old Joe let's him start the 9th, or if he feels the need to insert another pitcher.
