The “ulterior motives” vibes are strong with the dad.

Birm said on today’s talking stuff that the mom is the one driving the recruitment, which is helpful to Ohio State because she trusts Day and Johnson, and that Oregon was a team to watch in addition to the obvious USC as the top schools.

Talking about the defense:
They definitely fly around to the ball,” Uiagalelei said. “It was fun to watch. I could see myself playing in that defense. I just love the coaches and the culture they’ve built there.”

Said he isn’t sure if he will take anymore visits and if he does it will be one to Alabama. Sounds very promising.

Well, heck. Thought I read on BP that he promised Luke Montgomery that he'd commit to tOSU if he (Montgomery) would introduce him to LeBron.....Montgomery did, so we'll see if a) story was correct; b) and if so, whether he's a person of integrity. I rank him an "8" to commit to tOSU! Go Bucks!

Starting to feel pretty good about how this DE class could end up. We've come out of the woodworks for 3 of the top national guys and I feel good on LJ Sr coming out on top for 2 of them. Now I do think Matayo is going to be a real battle with Oregon for, I like that it's a two horse race but Oregon will not get beat out easily here. Cautious optimism abounds.
