Cbf40's look at '11 recruiting

After Tanner and Vannett announce...

This class is done pretty much.

The 3 Glenville kids will announce late like normal, but they will come here, and Grant.

Then there is probably 1 more spot that goes to a LB. DePriest or Price.

And Donavon Clark could also throw his name in the ring after his camp as an extra o-lineman.

Think we are done in the defensive backfield. Unless Gorman wants to come.

so how many does that put us at, 23? No chance of Jones getting into the mix at athlete or picking up a late top 50 type kid with the extra schollies freed up recently?

While the author (someone that posts on this board regularly, no?) does have Big Tank in this class, I'm surprised that he has him listed as least likely come aboard, below even DePriest. Am I missing something there? Grades, or is it that the offer isn't in writing yet?

The author is actually me, so I don't have any inside info on any of those predictions outside of what I hear here on the planet. My thinking on Sturdivant is that his offer still appears to be contingent on grades to some extent. If that gets cleared up he is certainly right behind Walker as far as players that I am confident will be a part of the class.
