EDIT- TRON! That's who I'm thinking of. KING is definitely TRON.

Took you this long to figure it out?
I've never heard of ANYONE in or around the league having a single bad thing to say about KG's character. He is super-intense on the court, but that's a good thing. Who cares if he's screaming something at the other team? And if you don't think Jordan said some ridiculous [censored] to his opponents, you are sadly mistaken.
Of course other players talked smack to each other. My problem with KG (and I think most reasonable people would agree) is that he's so out in the open about it. I mean, does he really need to scream F U this and F-got that before and during every game, not just to his opponents, but also to the crowd? Sorry, but that's unnecessary junk from a punk.

And I don't recall Jordan or any other respectable athlete every doing that nearly to the degree KG does. I guess the rest of us are just a bunch of anti-Celtics that hate Kevin Garnett because he's wearing green.

And on the subject of Paul Pierce, I saw an interesting quote last night that didn't get much play last year at the time he said it:

He said he was the best player in the league, not Kobe or Lebron.

... which of course is insane.

:slappy: This is the same Paul Pierce who, prior to KG showing up, "led" the Celtics to records of

19-31
35-47
36-46
49-33
44-38
36-46
45-37
33-49
24-58

an average of 35 wins per season, which is, of course, sub .500 basketball. I've never seen a player whose career has been made by riding a superior player's coattails have such a huge ego. What Pierce has done is only slightly less pathetic then if Jud Buchler had claimed that he was the best player in the NBA because he was on those Bulls' teams that won 6 NBA titles.

No one watches the NBA to see players be polite.

well that's not fair. It's not like LeBron led a team of nobodies to the NBA Finals or anything.

Big "Baby" Davis throws a miserable pass to Brad Miller, hacks him with a possible flagrant, then flops to pretend as if he'd been punched by Miller ... almost getting Brad Miller ejected.

Interesting turn of events that was precipitated by the fact that Glen Davis sucks. Ha!

Bulls could have pulled this one out - either way its a dog fight. Boston is going to be drained after this series, and they're no where near the team they were this time last year.

I feel better knowing my Cavs are resting, C's won't make it past the 2nd round... hell, depending on tonight, they might not make it out of the 1st.

 couldn't happen to a more deserving team/fanbase
