Celtics-Magic Second round series

I feel like the Magic would be much easier.

Celtics have Ray Allen and Paul Pierce...and Boston could be tough to play at.

Both teams shouldn't pose too much of an issue. 6 games for the C's, 5 for Magic. :)

Really? I just don't know if the Cavs have anyone to stop Howard down low. And that beatdown they gave us near the end of the year is still fresh in my memory. But yeah, LeBron and co. should be able to handle either team in 6.

I think the way the Cavs are playing they beat either team rather easily. Neither of these teams are elite now that Garnett is out and their bench is not that deep.

Rondo's shot didn't hit the rim, fwiw.

You'd think they could show 1 replay from the side, rather than from under the basket, in order to see it clearly.

Stan Van Gundy needs to be fired.

The Magic will handle stopping Howard. They don't get the ball to him much and I don't think he's that developed offensively. He'd be tough on the boards, but I don't see him as that much of a threat.

Besides that, Alston is terrible with pressure D on him. Rondo, on the other hand, is tough to handle.

Plus...it's Ray Allen and Paul Pierce compared to Rashard Lewis and, uh, Hedo Turkalo (?). Finally, @Boston> @Orlando. Playing at Boston is tough. I don't see playing at Orlando as difficult.

Just my opinion, we agree with the overall outcome either way. :)

I am not a fan of Magic or any other NBA team but that was some major league bullshit. And Big Punk just bulldozed his way in the last rebound. That is why I hardly ever watch NBA anymore. Just watching this game was enough to upset my nerves.

I don't know what I hate more... Boston, or seeing Orlando blow away their huge leads. I hate Boston w/ such a passion! How in the hell do they get so lucky? It seems that in playoff games everything goes Boston's way just enough for them to barely win. That shit isn't gonna fly in Cleveland. I would love to see Boston showboat some more when they're getting it handed to them in Cleveland

It's kinda funny how cocky Cavs fans have become considering their team still hasn't won shit in their entire existence. If the Celts don't win this year, which they probably won't, I'd actually pull for the Cavs (especially against the Lakers) because LeBron is amazingly humble for a man of his skills and accomplishments.

Then again, if Cleveland pulls a Cleveland - as in The Drive or The Fumble - the meltdown would be sure to provide some delicious moments.

Maybe Orlando should make another run at Billy Donovan. He's gotta be better than Van Gundy, and staying in Gainesville can't seem like as good an idea after coming off two straight NIT bids rather than two straight titles.

For almost five full games Van Gundy leads a team that jacks up threes all over the place and doesn't get the ball in to the most athletic big man in the world. THEN at the tail end of this game when they need an effing three pointer they have that man on the floor in a position to shoot two (TWO, not THREE) foul shots (which he sucks at). The reality is, they have the talent to win this series, but the deserve to lose it because of their coaching and lack of composure.
