Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

It occurred to me that after Kiffin got fired, Weis wouldn't be too far behind. Just checked it out. He is 2-1 at Kansas with a loss against Rice. Just checked out the rest of Kansas' schedule. They play Texas Tech, TCU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Iowa State and Kansas State. I don't see them winning a damn game in that schedule. I wonder if his AD is going to wait till the end of the season or not...

Weis will get more rope because Kansas was awful when he got there...I imagine they will give him 3-4 recruiting classes before they torch him. So I wouldn't be surprised to actually see him stick around another couple of years, then get fired.

Not even remotely comparable. Kansas was a wasteland when they hired fat charlie. They only brought him in for his name and will be happy if he can make them a 7-6 team in a few years. They caught lightning in a bottle a few years ago and slithered into the Orange Bowl, but other than that, they have no football history to speak of. They've finished the season ranked in the AP 7 times in 115 years. Cholly isn't going anywhere for a while unless he's terminated for cause after emptying the basketball team's sunday morning brunch buffet...now that's possible.

7-6? That's what Charlie does with all the 5 star talent in the world. Kansas is going to be waiting a hell of a long time for him to do that there.

Fucking Charlie. If that clown didn't exist, you'd have to invent him. Has there ever been a coach in college football where the ratio of ability to ego has been so inversely proportional?

And before anyone says DickRod, his ego, though grotesque, was NOWHERE near that of Charlie and his success at Moonshine Aggy was greater than anything Charlie's done.

Kiffin is the closest that I can think of. The incompetence is definitely there, but I'm not sure that his ego is quite up to snuff. Bert? Bert is more of a douchebag than an insufferable egomaniac though.
