Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

I'm calling bull[Mark May]

Charlie Weis has never said the words "I'm done". Ever.

He may have said "what do you mean there is no more food?" or "slarghmmmph" as he passed out into a diabetic coma, but I will bet a nut that man has never said "I'm done".

When he took his first step, he turned to his parents and said ''I'm done''

And yet, New England is the only team that has ever been caught and called out for it to my knowledge.
I'm sure the videotapes didn't hurt but I think you're giving Weis too much credit in his, or anyone else's usage of them. Weis didn't "scheme" better because of those tapes, Brady was just a better QB and Weis rode those coat tails to enormous wealth (and waist).

Actually, I am on the side of those who think that he benefitted enormously from New England's organized endeavor to steal signals. Without that advantage, he was quite ordinary, even laughable, especially at Notre Dame.

Report: Alabama adds Charlie Weis Jr. to support staff

Charlie Weis says his coaching career is probably over. But the career of his son appears to be just getting underway.

Al.com and the Tuscaloosa News reported Tuesday that Charlie Weis Jr. has joined Alabama's football program as a support staff member. Weis Jr. served in a similar position under his father at Kansas before the elder Weis's unceremonious midseason firing last fall.

The move is not official, but Weis Jr.'s Twitter account -- not otherwise active since February -- has changed its bio to "#RollTide" and its location to Tuscaloosa. (Expect the "@weisjr_ku" handle to probably change at some point in the near future as well.)

Alabama has also hired former Kansas offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau, per the News.

Per al.com, Weis Jr. has also had minor roles with the New England Patriots and Florida Gators, teams with which his father also spent time.

Who would have guessed that Fat Charlie had a son, since who would have guessed (being so fat) he could even find his dick?...8D

Charlie Weis still paid $2M annually from Notre Dame

"Former Notre Dame and Kansas coach Charlie Weis could ultimately earn more than $24.5 million from the schools while not coaching either program.
Notre Dame paid Weis $2,054,744 for the reporting period of July 2013 through June 2014, according to the university's federal tax return, which was provided to ESPN.com on Monday...

Kevin White did an awesome job as AD setting up that Weis contract back in the day. He fled to Duke after that horrific 2007 season, he was smart in that respect as the alumni probably would have called for his head pretty soon. The football team has started 0-3 three times in it's history, and two seasons came under White's tenure. He was also responsible for the George O'Leary fiasco. Quality AD there, ranks up there with Michigan's former pizza boy.

So Alabama will have Kiffin and Weiss on the same staff?
When the Falcons fire Kyle, can they get him?
And when Jimbrau moves back to the NFL, will they pick up Jaybrau too?

Charlie "No Excuses" blames his failure on hiring too many ambitious assistants.

http://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2015/sep/09/weis-adapts-to-life-away-from-football-/

---
Weis said his struggles at Notre Dame could be traced to the composition of his coaching staff. Three of his assistants -- Michael Haywood (Miami, Ohio), Rob Ianello (Akron) and Brian Polian (Nevada) -- eventually left to run their own programs.

"I hired too many people that wanted to use the school as a steppingstone for a head coaching job," Weis said.
