DT Dexter Larimore (official thread)

Stepanovich was also a high school Ohio state champ (IIRC) and Matt Roth from Iowa last season was a state champ wrestler as well.

A football coach just can't give those guys what they get from years of wrestling. Defensive linemen should all be required to go through wrestling practices in the winter. Wrestling and the D line go hand in hand.

Doesn't sound like he's going to be wrestling in college though. Hellickson would love to have this kid.

Man I hope he verbals soon, b4 all the big schools start offering and then he has a tougher choice. I think this was one the staff was keeping under the radar.

His rankings are about to sky rocket with those two offers and probably more.

I have great confidence in Dexter's abililty to evaluate stadiums.

“It’s Michigan-Notre Dame, and I was surprised that the Big House wasn’t as loud as I thought,” Larimore said. “You’ve got 110,000 people there, and it’s loud, but it’s not that loud. It changes my perspective a little. I was watching the Ohio State game (against Texas later in the evening) and, whew, that place was getting loud. And their stadium is awesome.”

I vow to help impress him with the decibel level in the 'Shoe Saturday.
