You have to look on the bright side of this....at least we aren't 8-3 like scUM. We can beat those losers, go to the Rose Bowl and spank Oregon, or maybe get lucky and get to spank USC.:osu:

After today, my preference would be to play USC. I would still love to play an SEC team, though. . .

I'm sad, but this has been a much better season than anyone predicted at the beginning. On to THE GAME! We still have the Rose Bowl within our reach. Go Bucks!
:osu:

they peaked two weeks ago in State College. this team better get a LOT better in the next week... i thought they would answer the bell for sure, but hats off to Illinois... fuck this sucks.

Yes, Illinois played a great game, but let's not go overboard here. We simply refused to make the adjustments we needed to by the coaching staff. Tons of missed times when we could have made different decisions that could have affected the outcome. Illinois is good, but our coaching staff made them better. That is what is so frustrating about this game. I think they let the players down on Senior Day of all times. But again, beat Michigan, and all is forgiven.

We managed to do less than tonight with more talent. Our offense couldnt execute and the defensive play calling in that last drive was horrible. All those stunts and blitzes left huge lanes in our D for williams to get yardage and we kept calling them over and over as they drove down the field...Lack of adaptation on our defensive coordinators part, the same thing that killed us against Florida.

Hats off to Illinois. 1 penatly, no turnovers and won the battle in the trenches. If we were going to lose a game at least it wasn't a fluke.

It was a great ride. This team has already exceeded my expectations going into the year. Had you told me in August we'd be 10-1 heading into Ann Arbor with a chance at winning the Big Ten and going to the Rose Bowl I would have taken it. Pasadena wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

Go Bucks!
