i hope we do play oregon, i hope we play a top oponent, hopefully we will get the number 3 team, whoever is left out of the Rose Bowl. That will give us a chance to go into a bowl game as the underdog and play a top oponent, and basically the number 2 bowl game featuring 2 1-loss teams who were left out of the NC game....I just don't want Az State to win out and play us, with oregon in the NC game...i don't want the pac 10 runner up i want the number 3 team.

Well, first off, we're supposed to be a physical team but they were a lot more physical than us, on both sides of the ball. Normally our way of dealing with a mobile quarterback is to hit him hard but today we failed at that. What the hell was up with the arm tackles?

Second, we got caught looking ahead, and we did it to a team that almost clipped us last year. Say what you want about the weather conditions or whatever with that game, but Illinois frustrated us last year, and they stuck with the same game plan this year and they knocked us out. This isn't just on the players, but the coaches too. We knew they were 7-3 and they almost got scUM, yet we got that first TD and after that it reminded me of the national championship game, we just didn't seem motivated.

Third, Juice Williams is a pretty damned fast guy, I hate to say it but he could get around us pretty damned quickly. Also, he sold the fakes and setup play action well, oh yeah, and if you didn't know, he can actually throw the ball too.

It is what it is, a loss for the scarlet and grey, but it's not the end of the world. At the beginning of the season people on this board were saying we'd get 3-4 losses, and wind up in the alamo or even worse bowl. Now we have roses in our sight, the coaches need to be prepared for the quick strike offense that scum has, go into that pile of shit they call a stadium and kick them in the mouth, then head to southern california and let the boys see what the weather is like here in January.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned, because I don't have the heart to read through this thread. Is there not a possibility that Jenkins and maybe others will be suspended next week, or more. I think Jenkins was throwing some punches at the end.

Hey now lets look at the fantasy we can still live remember any given saturday...

We probably fall to 8th since BC lost.
Kansas and Missu still play plus the winner will lose to Oklahoma in the Big 12 game so we jump those 2 putting us 6th
Oregon still has its perinial let down game coming and WVU still has UConn and the Backyard Brawl (I can dream, remeber this is just my bedtime prayers I am saying here...) so two more down and we are 4th
Pray Oklahoma goes down prior to the Big 12 game... we are third.
That leaves LSU in the SEC game still to play and ASU with USC left.

Is this really that hard to look forward to with the way this season has gone? Its very stupid realistically we could end at 1 again (yeah, right voters... I forgot). Possible to get to 2 and most likely we end in the top 5. WTF is wrong with that?

COME ON NOW----- O-H everyone!
