In the "only the Big 10 Champion goes to a bowl game" 50s. Ohio State upset a Michigan team sending Illinois or Iowa (I believe,) to the Rose Bowl. Throughout the game the Bucks taunted the weasels by chanting, "unpack, unpack - you ain't going nowhere!"

Since a defeat pretty much assurred that USC would end up in the Rose Bowl, essentially a home game for them, that would have been a pretty apt message for the Bruins.

F'n Trojans! I was hoping to see the Song Leaders on the sideline in Glendale. I guess I'll have to watch the Rose.

Song Girls are like their football team.....artificially inflated! :biggrin:

Should have seen this coming when SC fans were telling us not to take the Bruins lightly! :bow:

So, what have we learned?

1. Pac Ten is a mediocre conference. With a mediocre USC.
2. SEC is the best conference top to bottom. And got to give Florida props for surviving!
3. ACC flat out sucks!
4. Big East was a pretty tough conference this year. Louisville, best team.
5. Big Ten has the 2 best teams in college football and bowls will prove this.
6. Colt Brennan and Hawaii. Brennan is a system QB. Hawaii is about equal to Oregon State...who they lost to at home.
