Jim Boeheim (HC Syracuse Orange)

I grew up watching the Big East on ESPN, so as far as I know Syracuse has always been a basketball power. Does that continue after he leaves?
Probably. The Carrier Dome is pretty impressive for recruiting purposes I would think plus their assisted coach is their "head coach in waiting" so they might not lose a whole lot of continuity. Also, any recruits who have already signed their letters of intent for this year can stay.

That whole "transition" was a sham from the start, not unlike Will Muschamp and Mack Brown at Texas almost a decade ago.
Eh....that's not entirely true. He was obviously the next in line long before they announced it. And he still might be.

The whole appeasement of the NCAA thing....that was a sham. Most Syracuse fans didn't believe he'd be stepping down after next year unless he wanted to. Nobody was going to make him.
