LaDainian Tomlinson (NFL HOF)

Yes LT Does rank with the names I mentioned, but I don't like hearing that he is The Greatest Player of all time... Because that is such a hypocritical statement, and it pays disrespect to Jerry Rice and the players I mentioned...

Well, the "greatest player ever" conversation happens with a lot of players, there's a new one every year as far as I can tell. In recent past it's been Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, so meh, I just ignore it.

Pats' celebration draws ire of Tomlinson, Chargers

It was bad enough losing to New England, but the way the Patriots reacted to their AFC divisional playoff win is what made LaDainian Tomlinson lose his cool.
The San Diego Chargers running back, upset that some Patriots were dancing on the Chargers logo at midfield after they had silenced the record crowd of 68,810 at Qualcomm Stadium, went after an unidentified Patriots player, yelling and pointing, and had to be restrained by a teammate and former Charger Reche Caldwell, who had a huge game for the Patriots.

Ah, great more logo dancing.

What the fuck - did New England go hire Cowboy Johnelle Smith whilst I wasn't looking? You're professional athletes for shits sake.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to meet with my choreographer about my celebration dance for the next Objection I have sustained while in trial. I'm thinking a Cinco Ocho/Joe Horn medley is what the jury wants to see...

The fucking Patriots should act like they've been there before. :!

I understand Tomlinsons frustration, I mean I don't think a person has done more to win a game than he did on Sunday, however, if he wants to be upset at someone he may want to start with the secondary. If you don't want the team to rub it on your face, then win on the field. Remember last year when the Chargers ran it up on the Pats? Did anyone think Belicheck would forget that?

All of that said, the Pats didn't call 9 runs in the second half, the Pats didn't muff a punt, the pats didn't intercept and fumble and the pats didn't commit way too many personal fouls, that was all the Chargers.

I get that there was a lot of emotion yesterday but the Bolts got a little full of themselves this year. Merriman needs to stop dancing and just make plays, thier starting receivers need to catch a few passes instead of having thier second strings, tight ends or running backs do all the catching.

The question for the day is: Does Marty have a job next week?

Every year?

Hell it's like every game when Theismann is announcing....and even then it's like every other play...

I must say I was suprised the Patriots would do this. They always seemed to be classier than they showed yesterday.

Oh well, lets see who will be dancing after this weekend.

Well I am a little surprised at the dance, but, San Diego DID run it up on them last year in their house. Also, Merriman was running is mouth on Boston talk radio.

There is a simple solution to this tho: Win, once you do that no one can dance on your logo, no one can do anything except sit there and whine.

Celebrating on a tough win like that is normal and ok to do, but dancing in celebration on the other teams logo at midfield is not ok. LT had a reason to be upset, and it was to protect his team. That is very unlike the Patriots to do what they did. Are they getting away from themselves?

Ridiculous. Then are you saying there's no such thing as winning with class?

Gads no, heck, I am a San Diego fan. However, in the context of yesterdays game and all that, I have to say that it was all in San Diego's control. If the bolts got dominated and lost by 40, perhaps I would be a little bit more sympathetic. They had the game, they gave it away, mistakes, bad play calls etc...

Was it right what New England did? Not at all, it was disgusting, could the Chargers have prevented it? yes.

Tomlinson showed what a pathetic little pussy he is yesterday.

Waa! Waah! they are doing our dance on our field! Get my mommy!

Did TO cry when Ward did the Eagle?
Did the Eagles cry when Vrabel did the Eagle?
DId the Steelers cry when TJ wiped his shoes with the Towel?
Did the Bengals cry when Ward did the Ickey?

Shut the fuck up Tomlinson. You're just another loser like Marty.

This idea that the Pats are classy is a media myth. Remember when Vrabel started waving his arms like a punk ass retard in the Super Bowl against the Eagles?

Classy? :slappy:
