ESPN is shoveling millions of dollars from the Brett Favre fund LeBron's way so that it will drag on into August. Reports indicate Favre is pissed that he is no longer ESPN's favorite prima donna and is looking for other outlets to cover his off season bullshit.

that seems more like it to me

As a side-note, Brian Shaw has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Cavs job, citing a "timing" issue. Another shot to the bow for the Cavs...

I disagree here--while I am not crazy about Scott, I think he's a better option than Shaw. At least Scott has some previous NBA head coaching experience.

Agree with buckeyesin, I always liked Scott over Shaw.

But this is my theory. LeBron got word to the Cavs he would prefer Scott.

Only explanation on how they could switch gears so fast. Plus, I just don't buy Shaw's camps response saying they withdrew their name from consideration. From all accounts there was never an actual offer on the table to Shaw.

So Scott as Cavs head coach equals LeBron a Cav for the next 4-6 years  Don't you dare try to wake me up from my dream sequence

I wonder what Chip Brown's sources say about NBA free agency.

per Chip Brown's "sources", Lebron, Dwade, Bosh, and Texas are headed to the PAC 10 deal is done and signed....(ten minutes later) Lebron and Texas staying put and starting their own network. Dwade and Bosh are joining the SEC

Sorry guys couldn't resist

What if Scott got word that Jackson is retiring and he'd get the keys to the car?

What The Knicks Just Told LeBron: Come To New York And Make $1 Billion ? SportsMoney - Forbes.com

It's the truth. Just look at billionaire Patrick Ewing. If he played anywhere else he would've had to worry about feeding his kids. Now, it's a wonder he has time to dabble in coaching with all the time he spends counting his "Get dunked on by Patrick Chewing" endorsement cash. :roll2:

I saw on ESPN this morning that Pat Riley had a meeting or conversation with LeBron's agent last night.
Yeah, night before Miami's official meeting with LeBron and his team. Heard they are there currently.

Just a thought with all this free agency going on and how many bad contracts have already been dealt.

Do you think LeBron would accept being paid less than Rudy Gay?
