I've been away so long, I don't know if this has been posted before, but here goes; Shaw and LBJ are both represented by an outfit CCA. This was according to yesterday's Akron Beacon Journal. Take it for what it is worth.:)

OK.. here's what I want exhawg to work on

Trade Carmelo (since he doesn't want to sign an extension) to the Cavs for Jamison and Delonte West... $15,780,000 for $11,650,000 + $4,250,000 .. then we sign Carmelo to a max deal

AND sign LBJ to a max deal

then we'll call it a day...

you only have a couple hours to get this done so you better start quick

you trust the same chris broussard that insisted the "summit" took place in miami while wade was in chicago and lebron in NY. or the broussard that has said in the last 24 hours that miami, chicago and then cleveland are the leaders to land lebron. bosh wants to play with lebron, him not wanting to go to cleveland is just another red herring in this whole process. the fact that you're trusting espn is troublesome.

I trust Broussard in the sense that he's fairly level-headed and reports what he's hearing rather than create drama. I do think things could be changing minute to minute. I also think the "summit" happened, in the sense that Bosh, Wade, and LeBron talked about the possibility of playing with eachother. But, according to Broussard, LeBron was non-committal, leading Bosh to say he didn't think a "mini-dream team was going to happen".

As a side-note, Brian Shaw has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Cavs job, citing a "timing" issue. Another shot to the bow for the Cavs...

no. chris broussard went to the mat insisting that those 3 were seen together in miami. that was his story. his source ended up being some friggin DJ in Miami that probably had some bad cuban blow that he snorted off his turntable. Instead of even trying to verify it, he ran with it like the espn hack that he is. it would have taken all of 10 minutes to find out that wade and lebron weren't even in the same damn time zone.

no, broussard is playing the role espn wants, nothing more. there is no credibility behind anything that network says on this matter. it's not changing minute to minute, but for ratings, espn will tell you otherwise.

Agreed, out of all the ESPN guys, I think Broussard actually reports what he's really hearing at the moment.

Already on my way to Lebron's house with Gilbert. Done deal. I hope Lebron is as big if a candy fan as you think he is.

I disagree here--while I am not crazy about Scott, I think he's a better option than Shaw. At least Scott has some previous NBA head coaching experience.
