Big Game Bob let his offensive staff do what they wanted with that talent...which included a bunch of nobodys at WR. Most 60 point games in a row? Though they still managed to drop games against Texas (shootout) and Urban’s Gators (Urban’s Gator defense).

40th first down
27th third down
38th 4th down conversions
106th red zone defense

It’s amazing that all those first, second, third, and fourth downs aren’t terrible, but then they can’t stop them when it matters. 11W had the good synopsis - break but don’t bend.

Knock me all you want but I wish we could see Tate more. He doesn't lose, He's cocky, he makes plays, and he has swagger. There's something to it IMO that we don't have fiery captain.

Tate has similar swagger as mcsorley. They are getting plundered 42-0 right now. Love the guy, but he doesn’t solve our problems.

No. Run game worked on like 3 plays. Defense is ass. Haskins looks like he knows it’s all on him.

I guess watch the first 5 minutes to see the worst kick off in the history of football.

True but our system normally revolves around a running QB and when we dont have one we always look disjointed (2018 and 2015).

As it was said by somewhere on here.. why do we even recruit pocket passers if we arent comfortable with them?

Just got home from the game and watching the second half of PSU-UM at a friend's. Did anyone mention that Hop Cassady's grandson was piloting one of the jets in the flyover? I thought that was really cool.

Ugly game today. It's almost like there were no improvements in their two weeks off I'm dreading two of the next three games.

So much negativity in this thread...and....Im really sad to say I’m agreeing with most of it. Wow this team is some kind of mind fu**ed. So much talent and getting out coached week after week after week. Cannot believe we came out like we did today after that beat down in West Lafayette and a bye week. We’re a fringe top 15 team at best right meow. That being said, Nebraska is a much improved team with a really good coach. Buying their stock and they’ll be a tough out moving forward. Honestly really happy to see their program getting right.

The only thing I really liked from this game was that a large chuck of the fans shat all over the super lame and gimmicky black out. Pay $100+ to see a team sleepwalk through the game and they want fans to drop $50+ on a black sweatshirt. Durker dirk dirk terrible timing for that dumb shit...

Improvement was made in two major areas today. The running game and Red Zone Offense. And it was significant improvement in both of those areas. We failed in the turnover game but that hasn't been a major problem this year.

It's clear that the Defense still needs work. We have struggled with youth and injuries all year long. We've also struggled with bad schemes. We had three starters out in the secondary today after Fuller left. White looked very promising as his replacement. The DL has been disappointing ever since we lost Bosa. But I thought I saw some signs of hope though when the D stopped Nebraska on five straight occasions.

Still a ways to go but let's not lose hope.
