After reading the updated Deadspin story, there is no way Manti was a "victim." He was tweeting at the fake girl's sister, saying she was one of the "realist" people he knew. Wished her a happy Thanksgiving.

Bitch wasn't even real. He didn't know her. Sounds like he and his buddy were fucking around (not sure if pun is intended or not, yet) and got caught.

All the twitter stuff hasn't really cleared anything up other than pointing right back to Ronaiah, and the Deadspin article already implicated him. All we know now is a few people already knew the girl was fake before the rest of us found out.

Not buying that she was involved. She was one of the people referenced that originally joked/called out the Ronaiah guy. Her response after the Deadspin article broke was "I knew it" (see @ceeweezy51).

Using the Internets, her name is Celeste Tuioti-Mariner, friends with @JayRahz (who's tweets are referenced previously).

Yeah, there was some speculation that since she was in on it months ago that she could have helped create the lie. Right now it looks like it was all upheld by Tuiasosopo though and Tuioti-Mariner just joked about knowing the truth.

Yeah, she already tweeted that she was not involved. She simply knew that the girl was a fake the whole time and she would joke about it. Like I said, all this twitter stuff simply exposed the fact some people already knew she was fake, but nothing more. Doesn't really clear up anything.
