That game is going to feature so much talent...I'm talking more than OSU-Miami 2002 talent.

I think it's about even actually, but saying there is more can be debated.

Boy, that is going to be a hell of a game. So glad OSU schedules these types of games.

True, and the best two coaches of the decade will finally square off.....

Much to the dismay of the media types who think we schedule our opponents in August every year. When we took on Washington at home they were a pretty good team (Cody Pickett, Reggie Williams). We cant help that they were a dud this year. I wish they'd look at the next 10 years before opeining their mouths. (VTech, USC, Miami, etc.)

Miami had better turn their shit around over the next two years or they're in for two straight ass-kickings. Then again, the media won't give any credit for beating them because we played them when they were down...

That's a tall order, that game was chock full of pro bowlers and nfl starter-material. It certainly has that kind of college talent.

McGahee, Johnson, Winslow, Wilfolk, Vilma, Taylor, Phillips, etc
Mangold, Olivea, Step, Sims, Jenkins, Smith, Peterson, Scott, Wilhelm, Hawk, Gamble, Doss, etc.

Any chance Terry Porter officiates those games?? Its funny to read the blogs/comments after some of the Howard/Sabino press clippings, how Cryami is claiming they are coming back to prominance and theyre going to stomp us. All that game is SoFla is going to do for us, is increase our reach into the Miami schools. Give them a chance to see how real schools play ball. Is it true that Kirby Freeman is transfering??

I guess it depends on who stays and who goes in regards to both teams. I still think the potential will be there, though it is hard to say since it is 5 years after the fact and we can see how they all panned out.

Obviously, this will be a very very good topic to discuss when that game thread is opened and we have all offseason to break it down.

I'll get back to focusing on Monday's task and the Buckeyes doing their part to secure their #1 ranking in 2008 to compliment USC's #2. :wink2:

I don't think Va Tech is on the schedule anymore but point taken. I love how 1, JUST 1, year away from a marquee OOC opponent and the media jumps all over Ohio State. You're absolutely right about Washington though, and wasn't this game scheduled after the game in 2003?

Oh and in case my point wasnt taken, i left out Cal in '12-'13, and Oklahoma in '16-'17. If you want to go and play schools like this you have to schedule them this far in advance. So in ten years when we're hearing all of this shit again, if OK sucks, Im going to flip out.........What else do we have to do?? Would any other school play an in-state school at a neutral field (closer to Toledo), like we are in Cleveland in 09?? It boggles the mind to think that ppl intentionally block things like our past and future schedules, and say our YAWN schedule from this year is common practice. Annoying.

Good lord... I was pissed when I couldn't see future schedules beyond the 2010-11 season at ohiostatebuckeyes.com, now I'm not seeing future schedules beyond 2015 on nationalchampions.com (or something along that line)... Where are you finding all this?!?
