Zurp, can I get some of whatever it is you're smoking?

Once again, I must inform the panel of judges that my brain is God-given, my thoughts come from above, and all that is Zurp spews from a puddle of nopantsgoodness.

So - No, you may not.

I haven't read through this whole thread, but...

Has anyone else noticed this? #1 Ohio State flying high coming home to play in the Horseshoe against a Michigan State Spartans team with guess who as a coach? Mark Dantonio.

Just like 1998.

I'm not saying we'll lose, we're the better team and we've cleansed ourselves of the dreaded Coopervirus, but with the way this season is going for the top teams, if we were to lay an egg in this game, I will be swinging from my ceiling fan by my neck.

Good to see Andre Amos back in the lineup, before his injury I always assumed he would be starting sooner rather than later, now he adds great depth to an already deep secondary (assuming that Russel's injury isn't serious).

Still listing Anderson Russell at Free Safety.

It will be interesting to read JT's press conference transcript tomorrow. Saturday, out early not even on the sidelines. Monday listed at 2-deep as FS, but of KR due to injury.

Oh My! in a cast? that doesn't sound promising. Get well soon Anderson , we miss you. He is a vital person to our team.

I read that cast business somewhere today, somewhere that is normally reliable - but now cannot find the source.
Perhaps they retracted and redacted. Sounds like a wise policy to me.

For the moment I'm taking it that the name on the 2-deep means he is in good enough shape to play, but not play all responsibilities previously assigned.

"1998" is all I've been hearing up here in East Lansing. msu fans were despondant after the Northwestern debacle, but after the Indiana win they are quite full of themselves. I think the game will be like 2006, not 1998. A sea of Scarlet, and O-H-I-O reverberating through the stadium. Exactly like last year in Spartan Stadium.

I happen to think that Mark is one heck of a coach, and that includes convincing his players that they can win games. Of course they had to be down after losing to NW but that got "fixed" with the win Sat. I firmly believe that he will turn that team around and it will surprise me if he doesn't.
He can coach defense and he knows how JT coaches so this could be a tough game for us.
But we win. :oh:

I'm a big Dantonio fan too. But seriously, this is a team that lost to NW. Remember NW? The team that had absolutely no business being on the same field as the Buckeyes? The team that could have been beaten by 80-100 points? That same team went out two weeks later and beat Dantonio's MSU Spartans. I don't think Chuck Norris could coach this Spartan team to a victory on Saturday.

Spartans 13
Buckeyes 38

Hope so - but it is all about the match-ups from here on in.

How does their D stack up against our O?

How does our O stack up against our D?

Those are the questions for MSU, and the rest of the games.
