Maybe I'm obtuse, but I don't share your fear in the slightest. I think the game at HV is going to be a clinic sponsored by Tressel and Co.

I completely agree. The Bucks completely shut down PSU last year and I think we have a better defense this year. If we don't turn the ball over and play tOSU football, we win.

MUSSELMAN: King had a horrible day against Indiana receiver James Hardy, no doubt. King was on Hardy most of the day, and Hardy finished with 14 catches for 142 yards and two TDs. King was the top-ranked junior cornerback entering the Indiana game, according to a few NFL draft experts, but that effort probably won't keep him there. King has struggled a few games this year, but his size and athleticism are rare. Whether he will end up being a first-round draft pick or not is debatable.

You have to be kidding me? Whoever he's talked to is a moron. I know this could be me being a buckeye fan, but I think without a doubt Jenkins is the best there is IN THE NATION. Teams just don't attack Malcom, to the contrary they totally avoid him. King? you've got to be kidding me?! They probably have the same measures, but not only is Jenkins better at covering he's so much more physical. Jenkins has faced Hardy as a Sophomore and SHUT HIM DOWN! King can't do that as a experienced Junior!? wow just wow.....I mean I've always thought King was over hyped let a lone the top Junior CB in the nation

the whole at night thing sucks, but we did handle Purdue easily. If it rains again I swear It'll seem like a replay of the 05' game. Gameday, at night, in the rain... Penn State doesn't have the defense like they did in 05' and we have a defense that is better overall than in 05'.

The biggest difference IMO is the running games. PSU doesn't have a Hunt, or Robinson to lean on this time around. Kinlaw isn't in the same league as Beanie/Saine, and in a game like this running the ball is going to be a big priority.

Ohio State with the better defense and a better running game will make it look rather easy althought the score will once again look closer 21-10

Just as we did in the Michigan State game, I think we'll be seeing a whole lot of Beanie.

Hart ran the ball 44 times for 153 yards against PSU....I think we'll see similar numbers from Beanie.

we must pressure morelli. he will make mistakes. pressure him early get the mistakes early and take the crowd out of it early. any qb who can sit there and have time will be successful. would love a repeat of the two pick 6's in da shoe last year.

Beanie will not get 44 carries.

God, I wouldn't wish 44 carries on any running back. That is brutal.

Beanie may get 20. He was limping pretty noticeably Saturday...he did try to wave off a replacement once, though, so he was gutting it out pretty well.

Seeing as it's Penn State week, TJ Downing has a word of advice for his former teammates about to play at the Beav for the first time:

Blurt out obscenities as loud as you can when you are on camera.

osu must tackle well too... i think norwood is going to give osu some issues...he seems to have a knack of getting much needed yardage...osu must get off the field on third down...if they have 3rd and long and pick up the first downs things will get interesting

FWIW, Mel Kiper's updated list of CBs, by class, as of Oct 17.

Top 5 Seniors:
1. Mike Jenkins, South Florida
2. Chevis Jackson, LSU
3. DeJuan Tribble, Boston College
4. Trae Williams, South Florida
5. Terrell Thomas, USC

Top 5 Juniors:
1. Malcolm Jenkins, Ohio St.
2. Reggie Smith, Oklahoma
3. Aqib Talib, Kansas
4. Justin King, Penn State
5. Brandon Flowers, Virginia Tech

Again, these rankings were prior to this past weekend. Personally, after seeing USF's tandem get worked by Rutgers, and seeing Chevis Jackson get turned around by both UK (before being knocked out completely) and Auburn, I am inclined to believe MJ is the #1 CB among all Jrs and Srs right now.
