Game Thread Ohio State @ Nebraska, 10/14/17 @ 7:30 ET (FS1)

any good places in North Canton to catch the game? Will be up there visiting my daughter at college and don't feel like sitting in a hotel room to watch.

Not confident what you may find, but this location is listed as a host for the Stark County OSU alumni watch site.

@alexhortdog95 wants OSU to beat them into the abyss, and I say we do exactly that.

20 years ago Nebby had one of the greatest college teams of all time...today, they got an ear of corn and a dumb look on their faces.

Don't get me wrong, we don't do them any favors on the ass kickin front... we just kick their asses and let em work out the rest. Fair @alexhortdog95 ?
And you call me a terrible person...

I'm seeing a ton of 35-14 type predictions for an OSU victory... What are they seeing that suggests OSU will be held to 35 points? We went for 62 on a better Nebraska team last year that had every motivation to play a good game being that they were ranked #10.

I'd be absolutely shocked if they held us under 40 points.

I honestly see this game as a laugher just like last year. I'm thinking 56-13 or something like that.

Husker board is depressing. Nebraska fans are the most realistic I've been around when it comes to team expectation.

I know the story is that the Nebraska fanbase is just the nicest, friendliest group of college football fans around, but I'm really shocked they dropped their pants and grabbed their ankles six days ago and have just been patiently waiting full tactical assault plunger insertion.

which, for some cosmic reason, never seems to happen when the opposing fanbase turtles like that

I dunno man, maybe it's just historical Nebby that I can't get out of my head but 58.5 over / under with a 23.5 spread puts it at a 42-17 win to take the over and tOSU.

I don't think that they score double digits on us. Max 14 with one being a fluke play. Do we go for a fiddy against them at night in their house?

I like us to beat the spread but I'm not liking the over. Anyone else?

The over is tricky. The weather might not be conducive for throwing a lot. So that limits NU from throwing a ton. But if they get behind early, they might not have an option. And that equals Tanner Lee serving up some questionable balls. As a homer, I see a 56-13 type score.

Saturday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 41. Windy, with a north northwest wind 16 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

I get the feeling we're going to find out of JT's throwing has actually improved. Remember, last year when the weather turned shitty, the passing game COMPLETELY dried up.
