I was close to throwing my remote at the screen during the Clemson game. It felt like everything North-South was working or resulted in something positive. Samuel's longest run was up the middle if I remember correctly. Weber was doing work despite his fumbles. Throwing deep twice to Victor resulted in two PI calls. The play calling has been fucking baffling. If I didn't know better I theorize that someone dear to Urban is being held hostage by the Mafia and he's forced to throw games. I refuse, absolutely refuse, to believe he's just clueless.

They out think themselves... They say to themselves "we have to do different things other then what works so we keep teams honest".

UFM just needs to follow the old adage... do what works until they stop it.

HIs philosophy seems to be do what worked until it works again. Reminds me of an article about the 73 tie with tsun. An Ohio State assistant from the game said they'd have won by 20 had Woody let them throw 25% of the time, but he not only wanted to win but had to win his way.

The problem I see is that, while the masses believe it is broken, Urban has to admit it before it will be changed. When that will be is anyones guess. As has been pointed out before, the next few games will probably only temper any thoughts of change. I think it will take a truly bad year along with JTs graduation to see wholesale changes. Hopefully Wilson will stay to lead those changes.

There's so much confusion and so many possible root causes that I 100% believe this needs to be tore down and rebuilt.

We can always keep some components of this offense but this needs to be blown up i believe. There's just so many possible issues that it's hard to know where to start and I'm getting tires of them taking plays away that use to work out completely because "teams know how to defend it".

For example, the touch pass use to be a guaranteed staple and it use to get us 5+ everytime but one team had success stopping it so now we don't use it at all. WHY? That was the perfect play to get JT a few easy completions and into ryhtm early.

If used properly ANY play will work and it's amazing how we have eliminated motioning players on the Jet. That kept backside defenders honest, set up the touch pass, set up the pick plays and gave the defense something else to worry about
