CANTON A Saturday night crowd approaching 500 at Memorial Civic Center included fans concerned about the future of the Canton Legends.
The small-but-loud gathering watched the Legends win a 59-56 American Indoor Football Association shootout over the Baltimore Mariners to improve to 2-10 with two games left.
"We're all competitors, and your competitive nature takes over," said Legends QB Scott McMullen, a former Ohio State Buckeye who threw five touchdown passes. "Why not have some fun and finish on a winning note?"
