Film.

I am turning the corner...would like to hear that all his ducks are in a row and then I would probably still want to see him come to camp to prove he is the man for the job, but I love how he operates in space. As someone else on another site pointed out today speed tends to be overated when it comes to RBs. Quick feet and the ability to explode through gaps is much more important.

He looked Reggie Bushesque in some of those clips. Specifically about 3/4ths of the way in where he stops and lets people over pursue then cuts back across that field(ala Bush's run vs. Fresno State). At first I thought he might have problems with trying to dance too much rather than go upfield, but he hits the hole hard and getting north and south is not a issue. Speed looks good to me.

Carlos Hyde and Fitz Toussaint at RB would make me happy this year. It will be interesting to monitor his situation with the summer camps.

Fitzgerald has plenty of work to do to qualify.

It will tough for him to get to Columbus.

Not to mention, especially with Jordan Hall and Carlos Hyde holding Ohio State offers right now... and Jamaal Berry possibly getting offered in person at the Spring Game in a few weeks.

According to this GBW article on Toussaint's teammate committing to Michigan, Fitzgerald has also been offered by the Wolverines.
You know, with TSUN being the "Harvard of the West" and all, it's amazing that someone could have a difficult time getting into CBUS but gets an offer from the Cesspool of the West.

I hope Fitz works hard on his school work and gets by comfortably...regardless of whether he ever gets an offer from the Bucks.

All I can do is speculate, but I guess this is RR just trying to get into the school so he can have a really small shot snatching Jamel Turner from you guy. But more speedy RB/ slot types would never be a problem.

wrong school...Turner is from Ursuline, they are from Liberty...

Oh sorry about that, I thought it was the same.

Basically the article said he liked his visit to Michigan, he was happy for his teammate's decision to attend Michigan and that he might pull the trigger soon for Michigan as well.

To all you Buckeye fans, if it wasn't for the grades issues you guys were talking about earlier do you think he would have an offer? Or are you guys only going to take Jordan Hall over him, then he would have gotten an offer if Hall didn't commit?

Seems pretty clear that Jordan Hall is viewed as the better prospect by the Ohio State coaches(as well as the rankings and the other regional powers).

Toussaint is faster, but Hall strikes me as a better football player. Might not be a pure runningback in college, but will be able to help his team in a variety of ways. Toussaint seems more one dimensional, and couple that with his diminutive size, and potential grade issues, and one could see why the Ohio State coaches MAY be a little apprehensive about offering him.
