can't see what the Tweet says but Andre is visiting tomorrow for the Michigan game. in addition to the mid-major offers he has received interest from Wiscy and Maryland.

he would not impact the recruitments of Markell Johnson and Gary Trent Jr.

Hearing that Thad wants to try and take Markell and Andre. Could be:

1 Markell reclassifies to '16 and OSU adds both to the'16 class.
2 Markell reclassifies to '16 and Andre goes the prep route for a year.
3 Markell stays in the '17 class and OSU adds Andre to the '16 class.
4 Markell stays in the '17 class and Andre goes the prep route for a year.

Have to imagine someone is moving on for scenarios 1 or 4. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think for scenario 2 to work someone would have to leave also unless I am misunderstanding something. All of these scenarios work for me as long as it includes Markell. I read an article this morning where it said that Andre had improved greatly this season so here is hoping.

Wouldn't all of those scenarios require someone "moving on". We only have 1 available ship total for the next 2 years.

I guess it all depends upon what year you are talking about and when the player would have to "move on". If we took Andre and Markell both this year someone would have to go immediately whereas if one were to come next year then someone would have to leave the team sometime next season or shortly thereafter.

Right, but the scenarios posted have both Wesson and Johnson committing within the next 2 years. In all of the scenarios presented for adding those 2 guys, someones got to "move on" before their eligibility is up to make it happen. Not only that, it prevents adding anyone else, like a Trent or top quality SG.

Now, maybe the staff already knows that a couple of guys from this years team are leaving. I have no way to know that and don't want to speculate beyond recognizing that we have too many bigs on roster when the '16 class gets here.

Unless Potter reclassified - which is not very likely at this point - then any other scenario would mean someone would absolutely have to move on to add 2 more by 16-17.

But there are really only 2 guys that wouldn't "hurt" the core returning group if they left now. What if the one that moves on is a G - then you are still only at 3 Gs and 1 a frosh! Hopefully it would be one of the two that wouldn't hurt.

I guess I do not understand why he has not already committed especially with his brother coming to Ohio State next year. Personally, I would rather have him then Trice. I do not know maybe he is second-guessing his offer because of the couple coaches leaving but I think I hometown boy would want to play at Ohio State. I guess this is assuming that his "offer" is a official offer.
