Game Thread tOSU at Cal Bears, Sep 14, 7 ET, Fox

We are tackling much better this year than we did last year. We also have a bit more speed on Defense this year than we did last year. Those two things alone will be difference makers in containing the Bears Offense. Our LB corp is moving to the ball and Grant is starting to find his niche in the Middle. I am expecting a BIG game out of Curtis Grant this Saturday.

I am soooooooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing this game in person. It's not often that my beloved BUCKS find their way to California. Only about a 5 hr. drive from where I live in Humboldt County, CA. along the beautiful Redwood Coast. GO BUCKS!!!

Same here. Although the drive is more like 5 minutes from my house in Oakland

I like what I've seen out of Grant this year too, but I don't expect him to get as many snaps as he has had the first two weeks. We could see more dime sets than nickel sets this week due to Cal's offense.

Thus far when we've gone to two LB's it has been Shazier and Grant.

I lived in San Jose for a number of years before moving to the North Coast. We'll be with family Thursday in Clear Lake, then Friday we will be with family in San Jose. So it will be about an hour drive the day of the game. We'll be in section DD.

I will be in section J on Saturday. This should be a fun game to watch in person. Hopefully Braxton is healthy enough to play.

The wife and I will be in Section N. And if it was a sprained MCL, I fully expect Braxton to play, but probably with a brace.

I haven't spent a ton of time in Humboldt, but I have family in Weaverville, so I'm very familiar with the 5 hour drive to and from the Bay Area. I'll be in section VV wearing a 47 Hawk jersey. Pretty disappointed in myself for accidentally buying tickets on the Cal side of the field, but it should still be awesome to finally be able to go to a game.

Yea absolutely. I meant I believe we'll be playing more 1 linebacker sets than usual vs. Cal, which would be Shazier.

It was but we have done away with cable and stream on Roku and use a HDTV antenna. It is only times like this that we miss having cable, but for the most part do not miss the hundreds of channels that we were paying for that we never watched.

Cal has thrown 63 and 51 times in their first 2 games

this will be a test for the secondary....hopefully they come to play
