Game Thread tOSU at Wisconsin, Sat, Oct 16, 7:00 ET; ESPN

We control our own destiny from here on in to the end of the season. It looks real good for sparty now since they do not play Ohio State or Iowa. I missed the MSU / Whisky matchup and would have loved to seen that one. Wisconsin cannot afford another loss in the Big1T1en. And for that reason i am concerned about the clash at Camp Randall saturday night and of course i will be a nervous wreck all day waiting with much anxiety. The 2003 game with Wisconsin was a heartbreaker for me. That was 7 years ago and i really feel that if we could have won that game, then we would have won out the rest and would have been in good position for another trip to the big one. But i am confident in JT and his staff will have a good game plan and maybe a couple trick plays up his sleeve (If needed.) 21-17 OhioState

I'm with Southcampus on this one.

Wisky's play action game, specifically to the TE, scares me more than the run game. I fear our young DB's getting too nosy.

I will continue to worry about the OSU offense until the last game has been played. They have to pass to set up the run, so lets just hope the passing goes well.

My reservations are more due to the atmosphere than anything else. If OSU plays well they are a much better team than Wisconsin.

I say something like 27-20 good guys. Closer than comfortable but anything >1 is fine when its all over.

Fuck Bucky.

Had the same thoughts until I saw the highlight of the two-point conversion. For some reason now I'm thinking Bucky gets curb-stomped.
With tressel taking a knee on the final XP try, saying that's what it says on his card.

Man, when was the last time Wiscy tried to beat us with TEs? I know they have great TEs, and utilizes them well, but they are playing Ohio State, it's always about the running game.

Besides, Nate Williams loves getting sacks vs. Wisconsin. If they rely on Tolzin to win, we'd be glad to take a couple more ints to the house.

Time for the DL to have their best game, and if we can limit Wisconsin's running game, they don't have the guns to stay with us in this one.

Ohio State X
Wisconsin X-Y
where X and Y are positive integers, and X is greater than or equal to Y.

Another bold prediction:
Ohio State punts or kicks field goals every fourth down (unless the card says to go for the first down).

Last year Ohio State, Cam Haywood in particular, owned those fatties on the Wisky O line. Why would it be any different this year? Pryor will have his way with the UW defense and the OSU defense will be solid. As long as special teams, TO's, etc. don't bite us in the butt, I like Fanaticbuckeye's prediction. Won't be easy, but won't be anything to have a nervous breakdown about.
