Not only does he have one of the best names in the entire recruiting industry, but Arizona prospect Bear Tenney is emerging as a priority tight end target for Ohio State in the 2025 recruiting class.
Tenney picked up his OSU offer from Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day on June 28, then made his first gameday visit on Sept. 3 for the Notre Dame game.
“It was the loudest atmosphere I’ve ever been in,” Tenney told Eleven Warriors.
I was thinking it, and you said itAdded bonus, his mom > qb from iowa’s Mom from a few years back.

Buckeyes to have multiple tight ends on hand for this weekend’s game
Making the trip from Georgia, Ethan Barbour will be at Ohio State Saturday and looking closely at Kevin Wilson and the tight end group’s play. A 6-foot-3, 215 pound athlete, Barbour is currently the No. 69 player per the 247Sports rankings and specifically checks in as the third best tight-end in the class and seventh best player in Georgia for 2025. At nearly 15 offers to his name already as only a high school sophomore, it’s easy to see why he’s early on one of the better tight-ends in the country.....

THE HURRY-UP: ETHAN BARBOUR SAID OHIO STATE'S LEVEL OF DETAIL WAS "INCREDIBLE" ON HIS VISIT TO COLUMBUS
“My visit was great,” Barbour told Eleven Warriors. One of my key takeaways was just how thorough they were. They literally discussed everything from what it means to be a Buckeye, how they help you manage your academic schedule, nutrition, and they even discussed how they prepare you for life on and off the field. The level of detail was incredible.”
Barbour picked an excellent game to visit Ohio State as far as his position is concerned, as Cade Stover caught two touchdown passes on the afternoon. The Georiga prospect said he was impressed by how the Buckeyes used their tight ends.
“I spent a lot of time in the tight end room while (Kevin) Wilson went over film,” Barbour said. “Based on what I saw and what I heard, the tight is a critical part of their offense. I think that is only going to grow.”
