XBox 360, PS3 or Wii? ( ESPN on 360 for TWC)

Coincidentally, there was a tech article on Yahoo! a few days ago too that 50% of all software sold on Wii was either a Nintendo 1st party game or a copy of Guitar Hero. This is bad data for 3rd parties, so by extension it's bad for Nintendo too. The PS3 has outsold the Wii in Japan the last eight weeks in a row, which is a pretty big deal.

Point being: People may be just about Wii Sports/Wii Fitted out. Not everyone, but probably enough to amount to a huge dump of gently used consoles over this summer, which would warrant a price drop from Nintendo.

If I were on the market for a Wii, now is the time to wait. Deals will be coming.

Rumor is devs/publishers have already seen the 'Wii HD' and it'll be out "no later" than 2011.

It's supposed to have improved graphics output capabilities (duh!) - presumably 1080p/HDMI - as well as better backwards compatibility and digital content delivery than the Wii. I presume "better BC" means it'll play Wii games AND GameCube games without 'rebooting' into GC emulation mode like the Wii currently does.

Probably will still have fucking Friend Codes though. :smash:

Zombie games with the 3D motion system would be interesting, though you'd need force feedback sleeves to complete it.

Recently a buddy of mine and I have been experiencing corrupted gamer profiles for the 360. He would occasionally bring his hard drive from his house to my console and things were fine, then a few days ago a couple of his profiles said corrupted and he couldn't sign in or load them. Eventually they disappeared altogether. Last night I took my hard drive to another console, and a few of my profiles said corrupted over there and wouldn't load, but I brought the drive back to my house and they were fine. Has anyone else here had that occurrence?
