Dang, that post was worthless, since you already said you were going to do that if I didn't post anything.

I guess that makes me a post-padder...

I'm going to make my picks now (before I forget and get shut out of my own game):

Start with 10 points
Buy Iowa (4)
Buy Penn State (4)
Buy Purdue (2)
Points left: 0

Ha! Iowa has a bye and Purdue plays Notre Dame. I'm smart.
Sell Iowa (4) and Purdue (2)
Buy Michigan (3) and Northwestern (3)

Remember that points do not carry over from today to tomorrow. So make sure you make your picks. You have until noon tomorrow (eastern time).

After week 1, how many teams with zero B1G wins am I able to pick up by trading away a team with 1 point? There will be 7 teams with 0 B1G wins after tomorrow's games. :wink2:

Sorry I didn't ask this sooner. I'm assuming that the answer is that only a current team worth 0 can be traded for another team worth 0.

Suggestion for next year's game: Just allow everybody to start off with 3 teams, and they are only allowed a single 1-for-1 trade each week. Everybody would always have 3 teams. and there wouldn't be any point values in the trades. But you only earn points for the 3 teams teams that you own each week - when you trade for a team you don't pick up their previous wins. So each participant would just score between 0 and 3 points each week, and the trades are simple.
