I lived in Alabama for eight years. Bama fans are, on aggregate, the most batshit insane fan base in the country. I hate them greatly.

That being said, the only difference between my Ohio Walmart expeditions and my Alabama Walmart expeditions is that there are significantly fewer black people here. The number of dead-eyed sad sack Buckeyes puttering around in school gear is the same.

I dunno. I spent nearly 15 years in the south.

Nah, I talk shit about Bama fans all the time. Talking shit to Bama fans was one of my favorite college pastimes. There are just plenty of other things there to make fun of that Buckeye fans aren't also guilty of.

Yep, that was a fantastic win. There's also a reason why we talk about that win in the national semifinal way more than we talk about the win in the national championship game.

I honestly don't remember being worried at any point during that game after the Vannett touchdown. Even after they got it back to 21-20. Oregon just looked tired.

If that final had gone like any of the last three, the game against Bama isn't talked about nearly as much. It was one of the only two semis we've had so far that have been competitive.
